Smashing Acorns — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PolyhedralForge ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Smashing Acorns app. We built Smashing Acorns to be a simple, gentle game — and to collect as little as possible.
The short version
Smashing Acorns works fully offline and does not collect any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and it does not transmit information off your device.
Information we do not collect
- No names, email addresses, or contact details.
- No location, device identifiers, or advertising IDs.
- No usage analytics or tracking.
- No personal information of any kind.
The app ships without the Android Internet permission, so it cannot send data over a network even in principle.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your high scores and settings (such as your sound preference) locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This information stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else, and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
No third parties
We do not share, sell, or disclose any data, because we do not collect any. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or social media components.
Children's privacy
Smashing Acorns is designed to be appropriate for children and families. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
Changes to this policy
We may introduce optional features in the future — such as an optional one-time purchase to unlock extra content, or opt-in rewarded ads as a free alternative. If we add any feature that involves data processing, we will update this Privacy Policy and this page to describe it before that feature is released. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
